Leadership Theatre

The topic given to us was "Hatred". This word is something which gives us all the negative vibes, which is the extreme emotional dislike towards something in our lives which can be towards people, groups, behaviours, policies and what not.

As soon as this word was given to our group we were really happy because this words showcase the emotional aspect of any human being. so our group started brainstorming over this topic so there came various topic which students can actually relate with but the final topic was decided and that was "reservations" in colleges which we all think each and every student can relate and have opinion on it.
It was really important for us to have more actors in our drama because of the vast topic we took and their came MBA 1st year students who were the bunch of  dramebaaz, since it was important us  to have an impactful drama and for this we  need to deliver the message on the minds of audience, which is the most important aspect of any drama.

The most crucial step was to fit in the roles to the people and see that they can actually do justice to that role or not and we all decided after long discussion among our group to whom the characters is to be given and I can say that it was really a good decision because each and every member played the role as if they have done this so many times, which was really appreciated as they all dis within two hours.

The pre-production stage was one of the best part of  whole day because it created a bond among the group and seeing how many of us had never participated in the drama before, it was the whole new experience for all.

Finally we perform on stage all the anxiety which was among all of us was visible, but that doesn't hamper our enthusiasm for acting in front of the audience. and the drama was huge success what we intended to showcase it was actually delivered, making us all proud of ourselves.
I can say that I learned lots of things through this theater workshop, being a shy, introvert person and coming on stage and acting in front of people was really different feeling I had ever think of. I had never thought of performing drama in my life, this has made me lot more confident and courage to do these types of things more frequently.

Leadership lesson that I learned from this workshop is that it's not just about completing a task but making people doing things which they think they can't, but actually they can do and leave behind many people at the end. A good leader is the one who makes other feel important of themselves and motivate them to do better in their life and also motivate them to at least try once without thinking about failure.
